Meyer Racing

Meyer Racing "The Hermit" and IHRA dragracing. Running a 455 Oldsmobile engine in a 72 Nova, this car runs in the Hot Rod class running on a 10.90 index for the quartermile and 7.00 in the 1/8th mile. This car is capable of times faster than this but the car is setup to hit the index for the class. Some of the closest racing is done in this class. • Feb 12th, 2008 The 2007 season left us in 4th place in Division 5 points. We did not have a very good season last year as we had a number of mechanical and electrical issues once again at our points races. We took the off season to tear down just about everything in the car and have a slightly newer combination in the engine going from a 10:1 compression ratio to a 13:1 ratio for this year. In light of some of the changes and the increased cost of travel we have decided to not compete for points this year. We will still be out making some races but will be staying closer to home this year and be making runs more for a testing standpoint than a competive view.

February 7, 2008. As we begin a new racing season I want to thank everyone who visits our site and supports our sponsors. I know all too well how fast time goes by. I would like to ask for your help.
